With a desire to work in a renewable energy marketplace, we have helped to design, develop, prototype then deploy an off grid workspace for two occupants into the retail work space.
As a result, we are now engaged in specification, procurement, supply chain of a solar capture, storage and distribution system currently sited in 60 buildings located around the UK
Following 10 years of continuous service in the design team as Engineering and Design Office manager at Sunseeker International Motor yachts in Dorset, before a new opportunity at Oyster Yachts closer to his home occurred, Ben is now engaged supporting the Design, Development and Production team from a distance, as the business continues to produce world class superyachts.
In a bid to help develop a new mobile platform for a well known, global coffee retailer, Mobley are involved with several business partners in order to fulfil the needs of a new generation of Costa customer experiences.

Although a departure from the usual engineering based activities, reduced mobility during the Covid 19 Shutdown period presented an opportunity to assist with, then research and develop a fully customised website for marketing a collection of historic Persian rugs. Sourcing new business partners, we created, populated and deployed this site successfully.
Along side colleagues in the USA, we have been fleet managers for a private collection of high performance cars, boats and planes. Our enthusiasm for speed and power fuels this element of safety, management and operation as we ensure the right machine is in the right place at the right time.
Marine functions are at the heart of our business, and indeed as a commercial yacht captain, Ben is most at home on the water. Due to another recent link, we have become immersed in a new world of Ferrari, helping to complete the restoration of a 1960’s Ferrari 250 GTE. Being around these 60 year old vehicles is an engineering treat, and to drive them, even more so.
With a particular interest in the Porsche brand, for the last 15 years, we have helped to maintain and operate a private collection of Porsche motor cars both on and off the track. Understanding the fragility of the engineering and mechanical sympathy to keep 40 year old cars running well is a particular interest to us.
Alongside the Ferrari 250, we are also working with a 1980’s Ferrari 512 BBi. This is powered by the monumental 4.9 litre 12 cylinder boxer engine. This car belongs to a private collection and we are going through the process of getting it back on the road after lying dormant for many years.
